Princess Amira Al Taweel of Saudi Arabia

Princess Amira Al Taweel is the 4th wife - he divorced previous 3 - of Prince Al Waleed Bin Talal, who is not only a Saudi prince, but also according to Forbes, is 14th richest man in the world.
Naturally, one would expect this particular young princess to oose with style and be especially fashion savvy.

OK, so while she's undeniably beautiful and very well dressed lady, i'm not crazy about her wadrobe choices.  I understand she's restrained by religious and cultural requirements, but still...

She lacks the panache with which Princess Lalla Salma is wearing her traditional kaftans, or the brave boldness with which Sheikha Mozah alters her haute couture to meet Islamic modesty.  And while some blogs call her "mini Rania", I personally beg to differ - Princess Amira has a long way to go to achieve Queen Rania's iconic fashion status.

The most daring dress i saw her wearing is the one by Victoria Bekham, and frankly it didn't do anything for me.

Princess Amira wearing VB "Tromp L'oiel" Dress Fall 2010 Collection

At Will & Kate's Wedding

Actually, her very appropriate, expensive and booooooring style reminds me of one of my favourite First Ladies, who could rock conservative Oscar De La Renta power suite like no other...

...and who actually looked rather adorable in shayla:

Так а я не поняла ЧТО ей не понравилось и что она тебе втирала? Тут же одни фотки практически. О не читала она мою писанину про арабок в моем старом блоге, вот где бы бесилась))) Я считаю, что с большего у арабок нет утонченного вкуса, судя даже по этой даме, что уж говорить про ассортимент арабских магазинов. я в школе на новый год не носила столько мишуры и страз как они.))))

Ха-ха! Ей не понравилось что я назвала стиль Принцессы Амиры скучным:)

I like to support Amira At Taweel
"I prefer driving a car with my sister or friend next to me instead of being with a driver who is not (related to me)," al-Taweel.

The ban on female driving in Saudi Arabia should be lifted immediately as it is forcing a woman to get the company of a man inside the car with whom she could be indulging in activities which are totally prohbited in Islam.

I applaud Princess Amira for spearheading such worthy cause as well! I can't imagine living in the society where I am practically immobilized and have to depend on someone else to take me places. However, I always was under impression that in Saudi female can only be in the car with the close male relative? Is it not the case? Any hired driver will do?

Princess Ameerah is gorgeous but I do believe every woman has a different sense of style. She is her own person and in reply to TK,

Islam teaches to never talk wrongly of your fellow brother or sister. May Allah(swt) guide you. Salaam.

Returning to the subject, Princess Ameerah is beautiful and while I do agree that she does have a long way to go, but also remember she has barely gotten attention in the Media, especially in the middle east.

I am a Muslim woman and I live in Saudi Arabia
although I wear abaya and cover my face , I love my life
and the abaya isn't a big problem for us as the world thought
it is our religion so i hope world respect it
we live our life normally
go shopping , go out with friend
also I'm going to university and I'm in English department, but I am not really good in English :(
it is just our life style ,
I am just wondering why the people around the world make a big noise about saudi women and our lovely abays :)

She's absolutely gorgeous. Love, love, love her hair but yeah the clothes not so much. All that lace and frillies. Like a little girl in a woman's body. Not very chic or elegant but she has a nice figure so she's stunning.
